Bad boy, no more!

Christian Slater has turned into a softie, thanks to his new girlfriend, Jimmy Choo shoe founder Tamara Mellon.

“He does romantic things for me daily,” she told Usmagazine.com of Slater at last night’s benefit for EIF's Women's Cancer Research Fund at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in L.A.

The two were set up through a mutual friend in London about five months ago.

“What can I say, I was really blown away,” Slater, 38, told Us of meeting Mellon, 40. “I just couldn’t believe it!

“She is beautiful, but there is a lot more going on with her, and we have had a lot of great adventures together,” he added.

Their next adventure: This weekend’s Academy Awards.

Mellon said she has been “very busy this week getting all the shoes ready” for the stars on the red carpet.

But it’s not all work for the two: They plan to hit Elton John’s after-party.

“We are just taking it one day at a time,” Slater said of the relationship. “It’s wonderful.”
